Yesterday I decided to film a little HAUL for you guys… little did I know it would take me an hour to film 10 mins of content “Yikes”! There were SO many mess ups that I made a separate video to share all of my “oops” moments! Hope you enjoy!

Hi Friends!
Today I filmed a very fun Makeup Tutorial inspired by the lovely Rachel McAdams in The Vow! This is a great natural, but still radiant & pulled together look. As a bonus – Not a lot of makeup is needed & this couldn’t be easier to apply.
I only used four makeup brushes 1.Powder Brush 2. Blush Brush 3. Crease Brush 4. Flat Shadow Brush 5. Angled Liner Brush (used for brows) The rest was applied with my finger tips….

Hi Friends!
I had such a fun shopping outing yesterday with my childhood buddy Lisa. We strolled around a Mall in Glendale California called the Americana. It’ a gorgeous outdoor mall that feels one part Disney Land one part Vegas … it even has a mini Bellagio style fountain that dances to music!

While scouring the shelves of a couple of cute little boutiques, I found a fab pair of $6.00 sunglasses & this ultra sweet flowy blouse! I Love the color red & I am born on Valentines day …. so this heart patterned shirt was a must have!

Hi Friends!
Here is a fun little Outfit Of The Day! I can’t believe this is what I wore to go Christmas Tree shopping lol ~ In my defense it was a spur of the moment decision ; p Had I known we would end up walking in gravel, I would have left these cute little booties at home in favor of flats! HAHA
I’m totally in love with this shade of blue ~ I love wearing black head to toe … however a POP of bright color can really give an outfit an interesting edge.
James was actually the total hero that found these amazing booties! Don’t you just LOVE a pair of boots that make you walk a little taller… & I’m not talking about height! These little babies have amazing attitude boosting power!

Hi Friends!!!
I am SO extremely thrilled to be doing this series! I’m not sure how long I will be doing daily vlogs – BUUUUT for now I’m really enjoying sharing my early stages of transitioning to a healthier me! It hasn’t even been a full week & I am already seeing a huge change in my mood & overall energy ; D I have of course had a few “whoops” moments ~ can you say coffee three times fast ~ HAHA -
♥ I want to make note that I am not following any one single diet – I am pulling info from a variety of sources & just striving to make better choices in my everyday ♥
TODAY’S MENU…
Breakfast ~ I had my usual Glowing Green Smoothie – Recipe pulled from Kimberly Snyder’s “Beauty Detox Solution” If I haven’t said this enough… FAB BOOK!! ; P
Mid Morning Snack ~ Handful of raw unsalted Pine Nuts
Lunch ~ Lentil Soup & Chopped Salad with a vinaigrette dressing (NO BREAD!!). The salad was something I need to recreate at home for sure ~ Chopped crunchy greens + avocado + red onion + olives + artichoke hearts + red cabbage …. Nom Nom Nom … so tangy, light & filling at the same time!
Le Petit Four
Afternoon Snack – nada – I was kinda running on fumes by dinner! We had planned on grabbing lunch & shopping for a few hours – So I didn’t think to bring a snack with me. What ended up happening was an entire day of running around EVERYWHERE!!
Dinner ~ We had our weekly “Family Fun Night” shopping at Century City Mall & Dinner at Rock Sugar! I swear it’s unusual to eat two meals out lol today was a special exception ; D The boys had lacquered BBQ ribs (I admit I had one piece) I had brown rice & green veggie curry – SOOO amazing! I plan on having the leftovers tonight – Who knew eggplant could be so tasty?!

Treat ~ James & I caved & ordered coffee while at dinner – I’m giving myself the green light for coffee while dinning out – just cutting back from my daily (ok twice daily) runs to Starbucks ; D
We got home quite late… which is why I didn’t film at all in my room before bed – I was zombie style tired by the end of an energy filled amazing day & happily passed out!!
Workout = Miles of walking in high heels hahaha -WHAT?! HAHA Don’t judge lol shopping DOES burn calories!! Tay & I are not doing Yoga on Fridays ~ Our weekends will involve a class on Sunday & some form of fun outdoor activity on Saturday… Friday Night is our “Fun Whatever Not A Care In The World” night!

Hi Friends,
Today is a bit of a sad day for me. I woke this morning to my mom on the phone letting me know that our beloved family dog Blue had passed in his sleep the night before. He was an old boy & I mean “Holy Cow Blue – you’re like 140 in dog years old?!”
When we first adopted him (he was 2 years old) he was starved, abused & scared. He has been by my side through so many ups & downs that it’s just hard to imagine him not being around. He was the most human like dog I have ever met, the kind you don’t feel weird talking to because he could do human-ish things like open doors (I’m not even joking lol we had to childproof every cubbie & even the fridge or he would just help himself!! haha). He would even sleep with his head on a pillow … So many nights when I was living alone, Blue kept me company & made me feel safe.
BLUE 42!!! YOU’RE MY BOY BLUE!!!!

What my Mom posted on Facebook today that left me in tears…
You didn’t want to leave after taking care of us girls
You fought long and hard to protect and keep us safe
And you did
You taught us how to care for an animal who was scared and starving
You taught me that every animal deserves a second chance
And in return
You gave us the joy of spending almost 17 years of your 19 year long life with you. Always by my or the girls side, always protecting, always loving always loyal.
Rest in Peace Blue…………you were the best!
